I’m not much of a Halloween fan but occasionally, I get excited to dress up. I especially love dressing up in partner costumes! This year’s costume gets bonus points because it was Disney-based! Where all my Disney fans at?! As much as I love photographing my clients, it’s always nice to take a break from work and do a personal creative project. Halloween couples costumes are so much fun – and they can also be a much needed and fun break for those of you busy with wedding planning!

What better way to introduce my slick partner-in-crime than to dress up as the dynamic crime-solving duo, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia? Pictured with me as the foxier half of our Halloween couples costumes is David.
He helps me bring my dreams to life with his business-savviness and awesome people skills. He also happens to be my significant otter and boo-berry. 😉

Not sure what to dress up as for your Halloween couples costume? Use your fave Disney movie as inspiration!

From giving moral support and encouraging me to go after my dreams; to joining me on video calls to jot down notes for me during client meetings; to keeping a client’s spunky dog occupied during a shoot so I can focus fully on my couples; David’s an integral part of running this business and keeping me balanced while moving forward.
A fun fact about us: To those into personality types and enneagrams, he’s an INFJ 3w9 while I’m an INFP 4w5.

Putting together our costumes and deciding how to pose for our photos got our creative juices flowing and laughs abounding. Props to David for making our very own Pawpsicles from frozen Gatorade.
He also helped me put together my carrot by stuffing socks and a screwdriver to give it shape, and pinning fox ears to his hat. Cute and creative or what?!

To those couples struggling and overwhelmed with the stress of wedding planning – I feel you.
